Honey Wood Farm

Honey Wood Farm

We are a small farm tending soil, food, and forest on the Key Peninsula. Located in Longbranch our cultivated space is a shy quarter acre surrounded by forest and the Salish Sea. Our growing practices aim to provide nourishing food for our community while actively giving back to our soil and ecosystem. Honey Wood grows nearly 100 different varieties of vegetables and is home to dozens of native plants, animals, and pollinators. We would love to feed you and for you to be part of this abundant community as well!

How We Grow

Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Shares come in two sizes to best fit your household’s eating habits. You can eat the freshest seasonal vegetables all summer long while supporting a local farmer when you sign up for our CSA.

We believe in growing with nature instead of against it. This means we don’t use harmful chemicals, encourage an abundant native ecosystem to thrive alongside our crops, and prioritize the health of our soil and surrounding forest.

To reduce tillage and keep our impact on the soil minimal we grow in a permanent raised bed system. We primarily use hand tools and other equipment designed for small farms. All the vegetables grown on the farm are hand stewarded with love and intention from seed to plate.

Why Join our CSA

CSA Registration for 2026 opens in February. Please read or sign up for our newsletter for more information.

Signing up for a CSA Share allows you to become a part of our farm. Each week you will have a box of the freshest in-season vegetables straight from the field to your table. A CSA share is a wonderful way to learn how to eat seasonally and appreciate the diversity of vegetables our region can grow.

We offer two sizes of CSA share, a full size and a half size. Full size shares typically consist of 6-8 items per week and half shares consist of 4-6. Depending on the eating and cooking habits of your family a half share might be best for 1-3 people and a full share could be best for 2-4. We offer pick up locations on the Key Peninsula and in Gig Harbor. A newsletter is sent each week with helpful tips and recipes on how to make the most of what you’ll find in your box.
